The Music Venue
at Queen City Lodge

The venue at the Queen City Lodge #1 provides a donation based, substance free,

all ages space where no one is turned away for lack of funds.

 

Our team of volunteers staff live events and we host local and touring acts from all over the US. We believe in the importance of community based live music in our neighborhood and want to provide a space open to all. Do you or your band need a place to have a show? We've got a small DIY music venue and we want you to play it!​

Artists and Bands
Read me!

  • We provide lights and a sound system including a PA, amps, speakers, on stage monitors, an X32 rack mixer, and  microphones (SM58, Beta58A, XM8500, and Sennheiser e609.)

  • We have 2 pin spots, 2 moving head wash lights at stage front,  4 rear-facing mini wash lights aimed at the drum riser, 4 moving head spots above the drums, and 2 portable up lights on the floor at rear left and right, and A DISCO BALL!

  • We do not provide a drum kit.

  • We do have a keyboard stand

  • We are limited by our volunteers' availability - but if you have folks available to run the door or sound, that helps! Just let us know.

  • We do not sell tickets. We are only able to do "suggested donation" at the door. You may set the door fee.

  • To keep our space running, we ask for a donation to the lodge (20% of the door fee).

  • We do not take a percentage of merch sales.

  • All bands must sign a Hold Harmless policy.

  • We have a capacity of 99 including volunteers and artists

Music Night Sponsors

We are asking locals and organizations to sponsor our music nights with unrestricted funds. Because every show is donation-based, sponsorships are what keep the doors open: they maintain our sound and lighting equipment, keep the space safe and accessible, and let us keep hosting all-ages shows where cost is never a barrier.

Your name on our website sponsors page.

Headliner    $250   

This supports a month of music. Your name on our website sponsors page plus in our monthly flyer in print and on Instagram.

Marquee    $750

Supports months of music. Everything above, plus your logo on our flyer and website, and on a sponsor sign in the venue for three months.

​

Disco Ball    $2,500

Sponsors a year of music. Featured on our monthly fliers and website for 12 months.​

Sustaining Donors

Donations are another essential way to help us with our mission to serve this community and keep the music going. Monthly donors give us something we can plan around. We are eternally grateful to those who can support live local music by donation.

Queen City Lodge #1 is a fraternal organization exempt under Section 501(c)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are generally not deductible as charitable donations; however, sponsorships may be deductible as an ordinary business advertising or marketing expense. Please consult your tax advisor.
